To revert, shut down all Connection Servers, then revert to snapshots.
You can snapshot your Connection Servers before beginning the upgrade.

According to VMware 78445 Update sequence for Horizon 7.X and its compatible VMware products, App Volumes Managers are upgraded before upgrading Connection Servers.
Horizon 8.x no longer supports Horizon Clients 5.x and older.

The client application in this case is the Horizon client being used to access that corporate desktop or Horizon hosted applications. It allows admins to centrally configure a GPO that applies to the virtual machines being accessed, then reconfigures the client (at connection) to block key logging/sharing for the client-side application. This keylogger blocking feature was introduced to our Horizon client for Mac. One of their worries were keyloggers or key stroke loggers buried in malware on this unmanaged client device.
